BoyKulit on the Road

BoyKulit has been fascinated with all types of vehicles since he started recognizing different kinds ( I think it started when he was a year old). Now that he's almost 3, he knows almost all kinds of construction type vehicles (backhoe, excavator, dumper, forklift, etc.) It's just frustrating that he has to point out every single car/truck/vehicle when I'm driving.

BK: Mommy, look a mixer!

M: wow
BK: look! look! you're not looking!!!

It's always been like that and now that he knows the car parts ( stick shift, handbrake, steering wheel, etc.) he always has some kind of question about it.

BK: mommy what does it do?

M: which one?

BK: the stick shift

M: for shifting gears

BK: shifting gears?

M: yes

BK: for the car?

M: yes

BK: oh ok. (then starts pushing it)

Also since we taught him what the traffic lights are for, every single stop has to be like this;

BK: look it's red! red means stop, look Mommy, the arrow is pointing left! it's a red arrow! it means stop! green means go! Yellow means slow down!

It's like having a little MMDA in your car, talking in a high little voice. LOL. It gets to my nerves sometimes but I'd never want it any other way:)
