Reading BoyKulit's progress report for last month, I wasn't surprised that even other people notice that he is sensitive (not all the time though) but he knows when to make lambing. That's one of the things I missed most. A week before I left, I had a really bad day and he saw me crying, he immediately sat beside me;
BK: mommy what's wrong?
M: I'm just sad
BK: why are you crying?
M: because things didn't go my way
BK: it's ok mommy, don't worry, i'm here
He then gives me a hug and lays down beside me. That just made my day. And it's not just with me or his D, he is very malambing to the people around him, when he sees his cousins he would hug them and tell them "I missed you Ate!" He is very expressive, with anything, come to think of it. He would say what he feels out loud, like most kids are, no edits it's just that he can express himself more accurately than other toddlers his age.
(in a store, can't remember where)
BK: mommy, it stinks in here!
M: no it doesn't
BK: yes! can't you smell it? let's go, I don't like it here.
M: wait mommy has to pay for this
BK: i told you it stinks here!
=/
He's a walking verbal diarrhea, but he always makes up for it for his being sweet, he would always greet us with a big hug and an "I missed you! I love you!" whenever we get home. He's not always like this though, he's still a regular toddler with tantrums and all. I just hope this isn't a phase and that he grows up as malambing as he is now :)
